tag tuesday

our first tag tuesday is coming i have 2 little guys that were gone for a week and every time they wake up they want to be held.....

i have been trying to decide on today's tag and i have all kinds of ideas floating in my head...but i also want to use up some stuff sitting around....so now i have a couple of tags going.....

this first one is the one i want to finish for you today.

at first i just wasn't sure although i love the cute show girl there is no real inspirational saying to go with her. but as i looked at it with the banner i thought about celebrating the new year and winter....a time to reflect, remember, rest and have courage to try again tomorrow. so i am going to find a way to take the tag background i made the snow girl image, some ribbon and a saying from this set together or miracles happen everyday saying and finish this tag for you....what do you have lying around?

free printable just click on image and right click to save to your computer and then print. i have put 4 on the 8.5x11.

the background is an old line from teresa collins then i added blue water color and some smooch all over.  (the smooch is just on the top half.) watercolored the banner snow girl. i stamped the saying and cut it apart to add around the girl, added ribbon and may still ad glitter. 

hint i punch or cut little notches on each to help hold the ribbon.

the saying was just perfect for a new year,  

Who knows where this path will take us but let's go forth hand in hand & promise not to let go because it may lead us somewhere vast & amazing.

green card from hobby lobby pad of paper, blue card stock American crafts,  jeaniesdesigns printable, silk seam binding, Heidi Swapp flower (michael's),  Mixed Media ink- peridoto and jazmin, green archival ink from clearsnap (no color on it), plum tattered angels mist.  

I used the mixed media ink to go around the edge of the green card and  the green archival ink to go around the girl print. I used plum mist to color flower then add a little Jazmin MM inx....i got mist on the ribbon so just went with it....added just alittle 

items used: white and blue (American crafts) card stock, jeaniesdesigns printable, mess dry wall tape, silk seam binding, Color shine chartreuse spray, exacto knife and mat. 

I spray mess dry wall tape with chartreuse color shine used dry baby wipe to clear excess up and used that to go around the edge of print. cut girls out with scissors then cut small areas (in between arms with exacto knife) used foam tape to raise girls up off of the mess dry wall tape and ribbon then added a bargin flower.

 I am from Cheyenne Wyoming USA, the windiest place on earth.... i was/am a stay at home mom working odd jobs along the way when we needed extra $ for our children--I have 4 children (3 girls and 1 boy) that are grown, 6 grandkids i have 2-3 nights and 3-4 days out of the week. my creative journey started long ago-- i taught myself to do decorative painting 25 years ago and then designed, cut projects and taught others to paint in my basement....i have created things ever since and before.....i owned a scrapbook store in Montana but lost it to a fire 3 years ago and that changed my journey and got me to search my heart which lead me to online classes to become a designer which lead me to art online classes that opened my artist heart again.......so i have to get comfortable saying i am a designer and artist cause the mean voice in my head tries to say i am not. Let's all practice listening and following our hearts....{dream hope do}.
